Interestingly, shumai (or "siomai" if in the Philippines) is a type of traditional Cantonese meat dumpling from China made of ground pork.
This project uses Bun, and I'm Chinese, so naming it Shumai felt like a natural choice :)
It reminded me of the Welsh informal greeting "shwmae"
